Micropol & Ecohazard 2013

The IWA Specialist Group on Assessment and Control of Micropollutants and Hazardous Substances invites you to join us for the Micropol & Ecohazard, to be held at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in the heart of the city of Zurich in June 2013. The conference is organized jointly with Eawag and with the Swiss water and wastewater professional associations (SVGW and VSA).

By gathering leading experts and practitioners in the field of wastewater, drinking water and reuse this conference will be a very enriching experience, with fruitful exchanges between engineers, environmental chemists and eco-toxicologists. Facing today’s increasing number of chemicals released during production and transport or after its use directly or indirectly into the urban water cycle and the environment, the Micropol & Ecohazard conference presents an excellent opportunity for networking and to share the latest scientific development and expertise with researchers, engineers, operators and managers from all over the world. One highlight of the conference will be the presentation of the Swiss strategy to reduce the load of micropollutants discharged to the aquatic environment.
